I Stand Naked Before You - Paperback Book

In the Southern Tip of Africa lies South Africa - a country of immense beauty and mystery, and home to a huge diverse people of many cultures and many tongues. The country of the majestic Table Mountain, one of the new seven wonders of nature; of the Kruger National Park which is home to lions and leopards, elephants and giraffes, kudu and springbok; and the beautiful Protea, its national flower. It is also the homeland of the most revered 21st century icon, NELSON MANDELA, purportedly our modern day ‘FATHER OF FORGIVENESS’.

This magnificent land bears the scars and shame of a deep dark secret. A land where a government assumed the role of God and declared judgment on its people - where if you were ‘white’ you had privileges and were considered ‘better’ and ‘above’ your counterparts, who with their darker skins - the Black, the Coloured and the Indian people were considered lesser human beings; where the Apartheid Law said, ‘You may not cross the colour line and fall In love, or marry, or live together, or in the same areas, or use the same public amenities – you WILL be jailed if you cross the colour line.

I am a product of this magnificent and sad land with its inhuman laws. This is my story.
